However, it seems to be an unfortunate day for the lion when its prey is not willing to be eaten but fights fiercely with sharp horns.

However, according to photographer Matt Armstrong-Ford. who took this photo, neither of the animals survived the fight. The lion collapsed after two days of fighting the wound and the buffalo did not survive because of the infection
