Killer whales are opponents that even the great white shark and the god of the sea must fear. They have a very clever way of hunting and can take down large prey by hunting in groups.

Of which gray whales are their favorite prey, their target is the protein-rich tongue of the baby whale. The rest of the baby whale carcasses will sink to the deep sea floor and become food for creatures on the seabed.
A pod of killer whales attacked the mother of the gray whale and killed the young by attacking the fins, the weakest point that prevented the young whales from swimming. They then eat this protein-rich tongue.
